# Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles to come face-to-face ahead of Intercontinental Championship clash
* Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles took very different paths to the Intercontinental Championship Tournament Finals, but they are the last two competitors remaining in what was an extremely impressive field.
Bryan chose to earn his spot in the championship round by defeating Sheamus in a grueling semifinal matchup. The Phenomenal One embraced the “work smarter, not harder” mantra by accepting a bye into the title match.
Will the two decorated competitors stay civil, or will the allure of championship gold set the stage for a more brutal title showdown?
Tune in to SmackDown at 8/7 C to see if fireworks erupt between Bryan and Styles.
# Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross to battle Bayley & Sasha Banks with Women’s Tag Team Titles at stake
* The current champions will face the original champions as Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross square off with Bayley & Sasha Banks for the Women’s Tag Team Championships on Friday night.
Bliss & Cross have been flying high since reclaiming the titles at WrestleMania 36, which makes them a perfect target for WWE’s “role models.” The SmackDown Women’s Champion & The Boss crashed last week’s Tag Team Champion Summit on “A Moment of Bliss” to call out the titleholders. Bayley volunteered Banks for a match with Bliss, and The Boss claimed victory to send a message that the first-ever Women’s Tag Team Champions had the titles back in their sights.
Are we about to be graced with the debut of “Bayley Two Belts,” or can Bliss & Cross prove that they’re WWE’s top tandem?

# What do The Miz & John Morrison have planned for Braun Strowman ahead of WWE Backlash?
* The Miz & John Morrison remain set on evening the odds before their Universal Championship Handicap Match against Braun Strowman at WWE Backlash. Now they just have to figure out exactly how they are going to do it.
After The Monster Among Men continued his dominance over the self-proclaimed “Greatest Tag Team of the 21st Century,” Miz & Morrison promised to make Strowman’s “life a living hell” before their upcoming showdown.
Does that promise come with a plan, or are the two renaissance men of WWE simply inviting the wrath of the Universal Champion?
Tune in to SmackDown at 8/7 C on FOX to see what Miz & Morrison have in store
# Jeff Hardy set to share his side of the story after last week’s accident
* A golden opportunity was taken from Jeff Hardy last week after he was detained at the scene of a hit-and-run accident that left Elias injured in the WWE Performance Center parking lot and resulted in his removal from the Intercontinental Championship Tournament. The Charismatic Enigma reemerged that night, however, to spoil Sheamus’ return into the field and attack The Celtic Warrior.
Now, Hardy is ready to tell his side of the story after last week’s shocking developments.
What will the iconic Superstar have to say, and will his rival Sheamus be far behind?
Tune in to SmackDown at 8/7 C to see what message Hardy will deliver in the fallout of last week’s incident.
